Looks like the ABC is worried that Jindal may look more presidential than their guy. What's with mentioning that Jindal is flying over on the 79th day since the well exploded? Are they trying to insinuate that Jindal is just now doing something? And who are these unnamed scientists? Do any of them have a Nobel Peace prise ?

Absolutely no political posturing here, this being a crisis and all. Scientists and experts are above all that.

He should just act.

He is allowing political adversaries to frustrate him, while material damage is being done to the coast.

Understand BAIPA, understand BO policy about the oil spill.

Same tactic, different application.

I think that's exactly what they insinuating. The lamestream media has pretty much ignored Jindal for the entire 79 days and instead keep harping Obama has been on the scene since day 1.

"Their resolution is [to] let the oil come into the bay." - Jindal

That pretty much sums it up. The administration has been delaying everything, as long as they can, and the only answer that fits as to "why" is that either they are grossly incompetent or they want this disaster to be worse than it would have been if they actually did get things going on day one.

Their boy Obama has been a failure, now they have to project that failure on someone else. Jindal, Republican Governor of Louisiana is the best target for that projection.

My fear is the methane being spewed into the air is going to effect more people than anything the oil will affect and Obama is going to sit back and watch them become sick and die from his lack of competence

He needs Impeached and Prosecuted Promptly along with this Unamerican Administration Including any Republican that wants to bend a bow to his will .....

Jindal should openly defy the government and do what he has to do for his state. The sheer incompetence of this lamearse, idiot-ridden Jack Squat administration is beyond staggering and/or anything that could be compared to the Bush administration’s handling of Katrina.

Jindal should openly dare, on national TV, the government to put him in jail for defying the government and taking the immediate and necessary actions to best serve his state....this guys ratings would go through the roof and further make this lame arse Jack Squat administration look even more incompetent than it already does, bet.

The title should be:

“ABC news attempts to trash Bobby Jindal”

I saw this tonight. Pure propaganda.

Also, Diane Sawyer is a phony and Martha Radiz in Afganistan interviewing a general was another propaganda piece.

Jindal's duty first and foremost is to protect the people of HIS state.

Unrelated thought:
Have any popular singers/songwriters composed works about the oil spill and the people of the Gulf Coast who have been affected? I thought about Randy Newman's "Louisiana, 1927" about the great Mississippi flood of that year.

Mr. Newman, where are you? Your country needs you.

The whole debate is pointless. Nothing can hurt the coast of LA, because nothing can save it. It is geologically, and metereologically doomed.
They’d better worry more about hurricanes than oil, because the marsh will be the Gulf with another big one; then the ‘coast’ will be Baton Rouge. The oil will still be there, but the marshes won’t be.

well, with an agenda to ‘reorganize’ the USA fishing fleets, (barcoded fish off supervessels?) putting an entire region of small boaters out of business by dithering around a natural disaster makes it all pretty easy. Remember Jane Lubchenco ?

I guess the dumbasses in the media think that sitting around and doing nothing like Obama is the right thing to do.

Ass kissing idiots.

Was this “report” done by ABC’s Linda Douglas? Oh, I forgot, she now works in the press operation of the Obama White House, not that she didn’t serve it when she was with ABC.

Completing a full spin through the revolving door, Linda Douglass, a long-time CBS and ABC correspondent before jumping aboard the Obama campaign in 2008 – followed by HHS and White House positions promoting ObamaCare -- has re-joined The Atlantic as a Vice President who “will concentrate on company strategy and communications,” the Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz reported online Thursday morning.

Before joining the Obama campaign as senior strategist and senior campaign spokesperson on the road, Douglass toiled for National Journal, part of Atlantic Media which also owns The Hotline. Her first stint in the new administration was as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services, followed by Communications Director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, a slot she left in April.

“Even more about McChrystal: now it can be told. The story about him voting for Obama is not contrived. He is a political liberal. He is a social liberal,” and he is a wacko environmentalist liberal.”<- Marc Ambinder in The Atlantic.

According to Bernie Goldberg, it is has been ‘said’ he voted for Zero via Marc Ambinder of the Atlantic.

Indeed, let Holder sue the state for trumping fed rights.

Let Obama have him jailed for trying to protect the environment.

Lets see how that plays out on national television.
