I think it would be the best job for her for the next few years.

I am really disappointed in Steele. I supported him at the beginning and even for a long time with his numerous gaffes.
I’ve had it. He needs to go now.

I would much rather see Sarah running the RNC than running for President. Having said that I'm pretty dubious about these rumors.

I aplaude this!!!! She would place order in the RNC that is desperately missing. We need leadership in all areas and she will get this issue resolved quickly.

I think not.
I wish to vote for her, but I’ve no interest in funding the RNC.

I don't think there should be any change at the top right now.
The GOP is running strong pre-election right now. Steele's words are already a non-story and we have had plenty of nincompoops as RNC Chair in the past.
Whatever Steele says he is NEVER going to deflate conservative turnout at the polls. Obama is the one driving people on the right to vote. Steele has nothing to do with it.

Not under these conditions at this time. Let me say this about that ~ DON'T LET CBS NEWS DRONES DICTATE TO THE RNC.
And don't be a CBS running dog lackey.

The head of the RNC needs to be a true blue conservative, an excellent speaker, intelligent and well informed and one hell of a fundraiser!
Possible candidates:
Newt Gingrich
Sarah Palin ?
To: pissant
On one hand I don’t much care what the RNC does any more than I care what the DNC does but, In this case Gov. Palin would be at home and would bring a huge amount of respect to the position and fear from the opposition.

If they were going to do anything they should have done it long ago. It is too late now and would only add to the GOP’s woes.
As for Palin - this would be a political dead end for her. I doubt that she would accept.

“I wish to vote for her, but Ive no interest in funding the RNC.”
I second that emotion, but why does Sarah being chair of RNC stop anyone from sending money to the conservative candidates?
Just asking.
