WASHINGTON - President Obama may get liberal Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court, but conservative swing-voter Anthony Kennedy says he's not going anywhere anytime soon.
Justice Kennedy, who turns 74 this month, has told relatives and friends he plans to stay on the high court for at least three more years - through the end of Obama's first term, sources said.

I think he may stay on even longer.
Swing voters feel a sense of power and importance... both sides want them and I would be surprised if he was willing to give up the power.
Look what being in that position does to people like Jeffords, McCain, Lieberman, Nelson, Stupak, Snowe, etc.
Kennedy knows that he now is the one to watch.

We don’t want any of the majority five to go for sure, but we also don’t want any of the most liberal replaced with younger leftists who will last for decades.
I would like to have a chance to help the 1% “not sure” to unpack their feelings a little.
