A selection of Department of Transportation data taken from investigated Toyota (TM: 72.888, 1.288, 1.8%) vehicles reportedly show driver error caused the vehicle's sudden acceleration and eventual crash, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
It got up to 72 in the garden yesterday so we are heading down the Mendocino County coast where it may be cooler. See y’all Saturday...
There seems to be a lot of under performers this year and I’m not talking about folks on the board...

It was also mentioned in last weeks telecast that Elliot Sadler won’t be back w/RPM next year. I wonder where he’ll go and if K.K. will take his spot for a year.
Well I was about to say everybody can’t win, but given the direction of our country, maybe they can.
I would pay to see 43 cars taking the checkers at the same moment. A new definition of “touchy/feely”, like jammed/crammed/stacked and packed.
But I bet it would make the liberals feel better about themselves. :)

I’ll have to check and see who the ESPN announcers are going to be for the race next weekend. TNT crew was fair but the # of commercials was obscene. Hard to believe only a few more races left until the chase starts.
I try to cheat, but that usually fails too. It gets frustrating when you pick the best preforming cars/drivers and someone else takes them out. That’s why I say it’s pure luck. LOL
The excessive commercials are an overkill sometimes, hell most of the time. It’s not like there isn’t 43 commercials running out there at any given moment!

Just got home from the rent house. Daughter brought my crew to help today. Her Mil brought another one by and ten minutes later her Fil came to help too. Got a lot done, but just about worn out.

Daughter just left with her crew. She came with 4 kids and left with 6.
Didn’t get home ‘til 11:30 from watching the Steve Miller concert on a beautiful night in Bend. Middle section, row 8. I’m a horse dog (?) today. Don’t have to look in the mirrow to tell me I’m waaaay to old for this stuff.
Sorry T.B., but Sprint Cup is (the only) rac’n for me. Trucks and nationwide don’t count high enough to ctr my schedule around them....

Why yes we did but the dammed high tide washed her back to the beach the next morning...
NW race on ESPN...
Finished the son’s move yesterday but after reading the articles I wish I would’ve made time for the races. Kaz & Edwards again. If the NW & truck race were on during the winter I’d watch them all.
Wife noticed back-to-school sales are starting. A year ago September (1 1/2 months!)we had a big snow storm, time is going by too darn fast.
Annual tour of homes weekend today in Bend. I’d need two glazed old-fashioned and strong coffee to go.
