Because by every rational measure, in every provable discipline, he should not exist. If his parents were reasonable people, he would have never come to be. And if he did somehow come to be, he would have never reached adulthood. And if he somehow reached adulthood, he should have never ascended to any position of authority.

He knows he a living abomination to all that is wise and sensible and logical.
