Kagan is a political activist, not a judge

....and the republican party is "the leftist light" party IMO

the democrat party is extreme far left and he reblican party is just left of center

Good for you!! I’ll sign mine with ‘your boss’.

If a couple of million sent a note would be great. However, some libs will say, ‘that won’t work’.

The GOP should shut down the entire democrat agenda until the election.

I nominate you for post of the day.

What "should" be done by those who represent us and what "will" be done by those (in the GOP) who are in bed with the traitors who are steadily destroying every foundation of this nation is something else. IMHO those who vote approval for Kagan are aligned with democrats, and NOT their base.

It is frustrating that the GOP is doing anything with the democrats when they don’t have to and the voters don’t want them to. I guess they’re still afraid of being called hurtful names by the left wing media.

We were taught as children, "sticks and stones could hurt our bones, but words should never hurt us." If we elected Republicans to office that vote against the will of their constituency and for the good of the democrats, they just plain don't deserve to be our representatives and need to be voted out, same as the dems.

They, the GOP have much to loose if they continue to walk the fence and not choose sides.

If they stand fast against anymore socialist legislation like the energy bill until January they will be seen as a legitimate alternative to vote for but who am I but one voice out of millions to listen to? They’re going to do what they will for their own personal political reasons. These bills are certainly not good for the country and neither is Kagan. Cap and Tax on utilities only? Give me a break. Maybe the Tea Party needs to be sending a stronger message in the primaries.

They're afraid of media criticism. Forget that democrats filibustered judges constantly, starting with Bork. What's worse is this particular one, who's nothing more than a political hack and a radical left wing activist actually deserves it.

Four simple words spoken by a senator in the minority and nothing will get past.

Mr. President, I object.

Yes. It can happen. My style is Barry, I object.

I think it’s time to put skirts in power.

These f’n wusses dressed to appear as men worry more about their hair and being offensive. The ONE objection is NJ Gov Christie.

The only ones I hear about stirring up some dust is Brewer, Bachmann and Palin.

The GOP is positioning themselves to make gains in power. In this they are no different from the Demonrat party. Instead of standing up for what is right, they sit in the weeds and wait their chance to pounce. It is a strategy they always use, puts the country second in line to "SELF", but it is what they will do, and are doing. They will argue that the only way to return the country to sanity is what they are doing.

IMO, it doesn't matter if the R's regain power ever again. It is up to U.S. to yank our country back from the brink of disaster. We could never count on elected officials, and we never will. VOTE THEM ALL OUT! Even the Republican incumbents. Do this often enough and we may not have to resort to the worst alternative. For my part, I don't trust a party, a man or the vision crafted to "sell" us on a different change. I just want my country back, under the rule of the Constitution, with the case law precedents thrown away, and public hangings for traitors.

I may not get all of what I want, but at least it would be nice if our "servants" would address the heart of the problem.

This problem is, legal bribery of govt officials, bureaucrats empowered to do things the Congress wants done, but is afraid of being "touched" by the backlash. The problem is exacerbated by judges using previous judicial thought as though it was handed down from God himself, instead of holding up a case or a law against the only pattern that matters....the US Constitution.
