I went inside a local bank (in a nice area) on Friday to discover they had installed bullet proof glass from the teller counter to the ceiling along the entire length of the building.
I was shocked...how third world. They must know something is coming.
Probably. Its not cheap to insure those brick and mortars. It was a financial decision. Put the bullet proof in place, or pay X amount more to the insurance companies. Which was the cheaper cost. Which leads into, how did they get data to support bullet proof glass? Or is it a blanket policy they now hold....the mind wanders on that..
Now that is an interesting development and thought.
Just curious, what part of the country do you live in?
There very good a preventing bank robberies. They have been around just about as long as banks have. I have worked in this area.
If they just recently installed it then they are years behind the times.......they must be just catching up. LOL!
