A top United States public relations firm has taken on a new job: Making Israel look bad on behalf of Qatar. Fenton Communications is working with Qatar on the Al Fakhoora project an Internet campaign dedicated to breaking Israel's blockade of Hamas in Gaza.
The PR group works on behalf of a variety of clients, many of them politically liberal. Among its more well-known clients is MoveOn.org, an American group dedicated to ending the war in Iraq. It endorsed U.S. President Barack Obama in the last presidential elections and raised millions of dollars for his campaign.

This poser president gets creepier every day.
When I visited it, this came up.
It changes with each link to it so you may not see this...
This is what happens when you let your sworn enemies live.
i’m seeing a fly in this carefully orchestrated ointment
It's one that I would not be surprised to find that is handling some of the Kenyan Clown's seamier Internet campaigns, such as Axelrod's famous astroturfing (for instance, see the Business Week article The Secret Side of David Axelrod.)
I would be surprised, in fact, if they don't keep fairly close tabs on Free Republic. (And they probably pay better than the The 50 Cent Party.)
Criminal...just criminal...amorality in the White House!
Fenton is an old leftist outfit.
Their clients page is pretty enlightening...
OK sooooooooooooooooooooo, this “company” is hired by a cut out to shill for the terrorist Hamas and Hezbollah AGAINST Israel.
Time to arrest the employees of this “company” for aiding and abetting terrorist.
Well, it is an interesting coincidence that Fenton's D.C. office is in the same building as the PLO.
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
From that page, some more information on this Fenton project:
In 2009, FC signed two contracts (worth more than $390,000) with the wife of the Emir of Qatar, to develop a communications action plan for an 18-month [media and public-relations] campaign designed to delegitimize Israel and generate international support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which was under the political control of Hamas. Known as the Al Fakhoora Project, this campaign developed a very visible Web presence and claimed to have rallied some 10,000 activists against the [Israeli] blockade on Gaza.
Thanks to both of you. I’ve bookmarked those pages.
I wouldn’t worry about this too much. Israel’s American friends will not be influenced, except maybe to have our intensity revved up by yet another underhanded attack. The ads will mostly be preaching to the choir. The few squishy moderates who even see or hear them will think, ‘Israel... Isn’t that the little country that’s constantly being bombed? Qatar; isn’t that one of those Muslim places where the suicide bombers come from?’
I just don’t see how it could be effective here in the US. It might even backfire.
Speechless
