Steele heading the RNC was the Republican's answer to the left's "black front man as President" tactic. Both selections were race based, without regard to qualifications or the greater good for party and more importantly.. COUNTRY!. Obama represents the left-most wing of the Democrat party but not SOME Democrats. Steele represents the left-most wing of the Republican party but not MOST Republicans.

Using blacks as political human shields does more harm than good and both parties are guilty of it.

Let's get back to being Americans, regardless of skin color and perhaps our country will once again see real progress instead of rapid decay.
