OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahomans affected by last month's record floods will not receive help from the federal government.

Gov. Brad Henry announced in a news release that the White House has denied his request for disaster assistance.

This means grant programs from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will not be available to residents.

However, the news release said that the state is working to find other ways to help Oklahomans, including attempting to secure Small Business Association low-interest loans.

I can remember when Alabama went for Goldwater...and Johnson paid ‘em back by shutting down the huge airbase at Mobile.

People in Louisiana affected by the oil spill have also applied for loans to the SBA.

Over 70% have been refused.

Every Oklahoma county voted for McCain/Palin, the only such state.”

Same set of standards were applied to car dealers who were shut down vs those who were not.

Its not like Oklahoma is left out of the equation entirely. They still get to pay federal taxes to fund disaster declarations in other [rat] states.”

I would like to encourage businesses in Arizona—Oklahoma— & Tennessee & Louisiana to with hold the proper payroll taxes as usual & then put all those monies due to the Feds into an escrow account & NOT send the money to the Dept of Treasury.

Putting the money aside in an escrow account shows that you are paying the money....but it starves the beast in Washington DC.

I know there could be some future penalties, but it is time to take a stand.

...a little too white.

Or RED!

And Obamah totally ignored Tennessee's flooding earlier in the year, and reluctantly had to get involved with the Gulf States oil spill.

Takes away from the vacations & golf.

I had occasion to pass through Oklahoma a number of years ago. We were on a 30 day, 9000 mile cross country, and back, trip on a Harley.

We came into a highway construction zone that was several miles long.

I had a USA flag and an MIA flag hanging off the back of my bike.

As we slowly passed, construction would come to a halt, the crew would turn to the road and salute, and/or put their hand over their heart. Even the guys running the big equipment would shut their machines down, exit their rigs and show the flag respect.

This became a very moving experience and a highlight of our month long 9000 mile ride. The experience did make it a bit tough to keep the bike on the road, as I couldn’t help but have tears in my eyes.

It is easy to see why Obama would want nothing to do with Oklahomans, they love this country and what she stands for.

As in the dropping of the Philadelphia voter intimidation case, its payback time to conservative whites. Our children are going to face unprecedented discrimination from liberal minority elected officials.

It seems that any state that didn’t go for Obama in 2008 is being denied assistance: Tennessee, Louisiana and now Oklahoma. I’m beginning to see a pattern here.

We had a bad tornado up here in Wisconsin. It was in a small town named Eagle. That disaster request was also turned down. Maybe the area’s voting pattern is looked at by Omama & Co. before a disaster grant is made.

Wonder how many times if ever, this has happened.

GWB has more compassion in his toenail then that ‘thing’ in the WH.

I doubt even Kartoon would have been that low.
