I've got nowhere to go, and I like to fight too much. People who clamor for violence as a means to overthrow the government should think ahead. There's too much talk, and not enough thought about follow through. As you've well noted, once non-violent men are pushed to violence, the environment changes dramatically. It would be The Balkins times 100 or more here in America IF it came to that point. People think we're going to only have a big shootout and that they'll get to die in "glory", if they die at all. They don't think about little details such as loved ones being kidnapped and tortured in order to get answers out of somebody else. They don't think about everybody being designated on one side or another whether they choose to be or not! They don't think about homes being burned in the dead of night. They don't think about politically motivated murders and assassinations. All this from the sort of idiots who post "about me" pages on Facebook and Youtube (complete with photos and videos of their gear) who think they're going to somehow assist with the overthrow when somebody makes a call to arms!.... idiots!!! For the record, I sometimes get paid to identify people through the Internet and HAVE had the unsavory experience of working with Law Enforcement and they always get the correct person when I ID them. I'm not unique in this. There are lots of people like me. My own personal opinion is that the vast majority of these morons are going to get picked up at 0200 within the first 72 hours of the SHTF. They're untrained, undisciplined, disillusioned wanna-be warriors and are DANGEROUS to everybody who really has a clue of how to actually DO something like this.

These idiots I'm writing about don't think about any of these things I've mentioned. To these people who wish for these things I would only advise them to keep ONE round unfired for their pistol, because that should be reserved for THEM if they're caught. If this environment changes as you and I know it will, do you honestly believe that due process will still exist? Warfare (both open and covert) is a terrible thing... singularly focused... and deadly. What do they think they're going to do when picked up by the illustrious DHS for plotting to commit treason? I'm willing to bet that whatever their plan is hasn't been thought through very well.

I could be proven incorrect, but personally I don't think there are enough with the resolve to actually pull it off. Go through your own "inventory" and run those ratios up into numbers involving the general public, and the numbers come up very short. Then again, I don't have a crystal ball. I used to support SF teams though when I was active duty and I know what sort of extensive damage that a small, skilled, determined group can inflict.

This nation is almost done. It pains me to write this, but too many men have permitted themselves to become enslaved by a house payment in a "nice" neighborhood with an HOA that tells them what color they can or can't paint the shed that they had to get permission to build. The pussification of American men has been fairly effective by the left IMHO, and if somebody is going to pull off what we're discussing, they better do it soon, and they better plan it well. Or they'll end up like Stauffenburg and his men around 1942 when they tried to stage a coup against Hitler.

The Corps is about 95% Conservative......... I guess that the Corps needs that 5% liberal contingent to keep it’s perspective, and not become a pure conservative echo chamber.......

For all his “Marine to Marine” talk when interviewing active duty Marines, he never was a Marine. Dan never made it out of boot camp, and was tossed before earning his Globe, Anchor, and Eagle (the birdie on the ball). I wouldn’t even call him an “ex-Marine” because he, and others like him, never were MARINES......just civilians that didn’t make the cut......
