Muslims want to throw entire nations back to the dark ages. Control over educated advanced people is difficult. Perhaps that might also explain our public school system.
They’re a parasitic culture, they haven’t ever even built a civilization . the world is divided into 2 types of people, creators and destroyers. We create, they invade and destroy
Yep.
“Do we have to use Arabic numerals, or Roman numerals?”
Do you mean “Hindu numerals, or Roman numerals?”
After all, they invented the technique of flying an airplane without having to learn to land.
Exactly. I schooled myself a bit after I posted that....
Absolutely! No doubt about either one.
mooslim contributions to society: curved knives to slice your children’s necks, suicide bombing, IED’s, honor killings, stonings, subjugating females, forced clitordectomies, and so forth. Quite a successful “civilization” don’t you think?
If Obama thinks that the purpose of a space organization is the raising of self_esteem, that actually explains a lot about his mindset.
geeee? does that make sense??(hows that for Hope and Change)
“The founder of Islam couldnt read or write.
Need one say more?”
Yeah! He was a pedophile too.
Obama bin Ayers wants a recount...
In the 7th century, Sevilla was basically one of the few glimmers of light in a Europe that had been devastated by the barbarian invasions (Germanic tribes from the Danube valley) who had destroyed most of what was left of Classical culture. They got as far as North Africa, in fact; St. Augustine died, probably of starvation or typhoid, during the barbarian seige of his city in Algeria.
Many important Romans (including the emperors Trajan and Hadrian and numerous poets and playwrights) were actually from Spain, some of pure Spanish blood but born and brought up in Spain, and others of mixed Roman and Spanish blood. Even though Spain itself was invaded by the Visigoths in the 5th century and lost much of its heritage of Classical culture, Sevilla and Toledo continued to be important seats of learning, and just a few decades before the Muslim invasion, St. Isidore of Sevilla wrote a compendium of “all human knowledge,” citing Aristotle and others. Most of the original works of the Classical scholars had been lost to the West during the barbarian invasions, but copies still existed in the East and were studied by (pre-Islamic) scholars there although they were not available in their entirety to the West.
Islamic “scholarship” only existed in Spain for two reasons: for one thing, although the founder of their dynasty was an Arab, the first rulers were only recently Islamicized Syrians, who had a much more developed culture than the Arabs and hadn’t been under Islam long enough for it to destroy them; and for another, Spain had a long tradition of intellectual activity and also had established Jewish colonies where scholarship was valued.
Anything that the Muslims had they had gotten from other cultures that they overran, and interestingly, a lot of that was actually later stamped out as Islam consolidated and became more “orthodox.” When they first invaded Spain, they permitted figurative art; very soon, any depictions of people or animals were forbidden and, in fact, the earliest, somewhat less severe Islamic rulers were regarded as too lax and heretical by the next crop of Muslims. Without Christian and Jewish scholarship (and even pagan scholarship in the area of mathematics and astronomy), Muslims would have had nothing. All they did was invade a place and claim its learning as their own product (before they stamped it out altogether).
Most of what Muslims claim as accomplishments
was actually done by those parties conquered by
Muslim armies. What follows the conquest is
criminality, subjugation and decline.
Quite a successful civilization dont you think? ................................................. In some respects yes, like Christianity there are followers and there are followers. Unfortunately we are only presented with the bad. The largest portion of terrorists are poor and uneducated and are lead by those who have the smarts to control them. Because a man’s name is Mohammad or Abdul doesn’t make him a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer. No more than Hans or Rolf are Nazis, Tony and Angelo are members of the Mafia, Sean and Brian are members of the IRA.
The largest population of Muslims is in Indonesia, considering that, how many of them have been a problem? They are making tons of stuff for us in their factories. Most Muslims want nothing to do with the Whahabees. Many are Muslims in name only and don’t really practice the religion strictly. Like many Christians who only attend services for weddings and funerals.
It looks like all the anti Muslim forces seek only to emphasize the bad ones while ignoring the good ones. The bad guys control the guns and ammo and make the rules. When they do the good ones must keep quiet or else. Watch the movie “FOR NEDA” a HBO Documentary. Its out there in the internet world, and assessable, I can’t post the link as I don’t know if its legal or not. Believe it or not there are many agnostics and atheists in Muslim countries.
“Muslim contributions to science and technology are pure bunk.”
Apparently you haven’t seen the video documentation, showing our Navy working closely with the Muslims.

I went of track there, but as far as contribution to the world is considered, don’t just look at the Arab side, but the rest of the non Arab Muslim World too. I’m sure there are a lot more to be found.
