COCHISE COUNTY - This Fourth of July weekend, a border watch will be going on in Southern Arizona under the close scrutiny of the Cochise County Militia.

Tom Fellows came to Tombstone from Prescott to meet up with the border watch group. His truck was stocked with folding chairs and plenty of water.

"You sit there all day and keep our eyes open," Fellows said.

Fellows says he wants to bring attention to an issue often left in the dust.

"The border is an uncontrolled problem that people like to ignore, and unless we can make a statement by being here, and putting it in front of the American people, it will get swept under the rug, that's why I'm here," Fellows said.

The County Sheriff should deputize them.

Are they looking for people from around the country to join and help. I will be glad to make a reservation for a stint on the line.

(I won’t do it unarmed though)

Thanks to those who are giving up their holiday weekend to protect the border. Lock and load.

I can just see Obama sending troops to put this sort of thing down.

“I can just see Obama sending troops to put this sort of thing down.”.

You betcha. Obama won't lift a finger to secure the border, but the moment enough armed Americans begin doing the job, the Federalis will be down there in droves to arrest the Americans of course.

Rep. Stark Mocks Border Security Advocates: Who Are You Going to Kill Today?

"If you knew anything about our borders, you would know that's not the case. Our borders are quite secure, thank you," Stark said, drawing jeers.

Stark resumed his hostile act, asking the Minuteman what he would do to secure the border.

"I would send about about 25,000 troops for one thing and build a wall down so vehicles could not pass," the Minuteman said.

"How high and long would it be?" Stark asked.

"As high and as long as it takes," the Minuteman said, elicting cheers.

Stark said he would start a ladder company with the Minuteman if he designed the wall and doesn't shoot the people coming over.

"But I've got to know how high the wall is and I'll sell a whole lot of ladders for people who want to come," Stark said.

"This is a very serious matter and you're sitting there making fun of it," the Minuteman responded.

"I don't have to make fun of you sir, you do a fine job all by yourself," Stark said.

(snip) Pete Stark on Obamacare:

"Mr. Congressman, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining," the constituent told Stark, referring to what he called the smoke and mirrors of the president's plan.

"I wouldn't dignify you be peeing on your leg," Stark fired back. "It wouldn't be worth wasting the urine."

Some of us do this every day, in that we live in cattle country about 20 miles from the border. No big deal, just keeping an eye on who is walking across the ranch. Of course it takes the border patrol up to an hour to get here if we call in a sighting of illegals so most of the criminals get past us. Sometimes we get lucky and are in position to confront and hold them until the feds arrive. And yes we are armed each and every time we leave the house. Heck, one of this year’s crop of young ravens was killed about 100 feet from the house yesterday by either a bobcat or coyote (Marilyn could not get a good look at it) so we do have our share of ‘predators’ of various descriptions out here.

Spouts the "tax the rich" bs, wants to allow in as many illegal aliens as possible, basically he is the typical communist wanna-be. Humanistic trash.

I wonder if he would prefer being "dignified" by a few of those Zeta boys...
