The big three nightly news broadcasts, NBC Nightly, CBS Evening and ABC World, lost a combined one million viewers in the second quarter of 2010, according to TVNewser. These numbers are comparable to the first quarter, which saw Evening News and World News get their lowest average viewers ever, while NBC's Winter Olympics coverage helped it get their highest average viewers since 2005. (Snip) Polls going back to 1997 displayed a continued public distrust with the news media.

How many times can you hear: “Unexpected”, “recovery on track”, and “Tea Partiers eat children and torture puppies”? Shoosh, maybe they should open things up a bit tell folks that “white people are evil”? That might pick things up a bit for them.

They DID NOT loose them.
FOX found them or they found FOX

Birth announcements/obituaries. Those who will never watch that crap/those who will no longer watch. They are running out of saps.

CNN going down too. As long as they continue to cover for obama, they can expect more of the same. They just don’t understand that we crave real journalism. Just report the facts and call it a day.

Okay I know that millions of Americans still get their news from the Broadcast Networks. Most of my friends, relatives, and acquaintances no longer watch the 6-7PM news either National or Local. The Networks have tried every gimmick in the book. CBS even tried airhead Katie Couric. They gave her a fortune and she bombed. They (the executatives) don't seem to realize it's the damn product that stinks. They are beyond hope.

Just wondering, what are the MSM News ratings -v- the Cable News?
To: BunnySlippers
It's about freakin' time the LOCAL NEW YORK NEWS was no longer passed off as NATIONAL NEWS!
That area is a foreign INFESTATION and a boil on the butt of the American national identity.
"I love new york" is the same as "I HATE AMERICA".
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

The 3 will never go out of business. First will come the Obama bailout in exchange for 66% of the stock in each network.
If that doesn't work, He will just shut down Fox News and the internet.
That way we can get all "accurate" information the government deems we need to know.

And I wasn’t one of them. Never watched them in the first place. Only TV news is the local news, and that just because I want the weather report.

They (the executives) don't seem to realize it's the damn product that stinks. They are beyond hope. It's their progressive biased views. The question everyone should be asking is why did they only lose a million viewers?
It takes a special person to know they're being lied to and still watch thinking it will justify their ridiculous, wrongheaded views!
