Sydnicated columnist Michelle Malkin wrote a column entitled The U.S. Department of Illegal Alien Labor that was published this past Friday (June 25) exposing Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis as an Open Border/blanket-amnesty-for-illegals advocate.
While in Congress, she opposed strengthening the border fence, supported expansion of illegal alien benefits (including drivers licenses and in-state tuition discounts), embraced sanctuary cities that refused to cooperate with federal homeland security officials to enforce immigration laws, and aggressively championed a mass amnesty. Solis was steeped in the pro-illegal alien worker organizing movement in Southern California and was buoyed by amnesty-supporting Big Labor groups led by the Service Employees International Union.
President Obama appointed Solis to be in charge of enforcing our labor laws knowing full well that she vociferously opposes our immigration laws. Malkin noted that Solis caused a great deal of controversy over her new outreach campaign to illegal immigrants regarding fair wages. What kind of a message does this send to people in other countries who may be contemplating a move to the United States?

Diseases that once were eradicated are now everywhere.
Fools in DC have opened up America with herd immunity
(or lack of it) to every disease millions of illegals
and terrorists are conveniently bringing in.
Amnesty would not be a good idea
That this action will price the illegals out of the market never occurred to her.
I say let her go beat up on the employers ~ scare the precious bodily fluids out of them.

Agreed, a few thousand employers in jail for failure to pay and report with-holdings would be a good thing.
