She couldn’t bring herself to say “child” or even *GASP* “baby”.

Grrr....

That is the ultimate thing that pro(had)-aborts want to avoid - “I murdered my child for no other reason than my own convenience”

Satan whispers - “God will never forgive you for that”.

So, they spend the rest of their lives justifying what they did to avoid the truth of what they did.

When she's burning in Hell she will learn plenty about guilt.

Sounds like she's already dipping a toe in...

Ultimately, said Harth, a woman has a right to abort because she "has a right to have a good life" and she does not have "the right to ruin it." "And if a pregnancy is going to ruin her life in any way, she has a right to get the abortion. She has the right. She has an obligation to protect her life from being ruined. ... Because you owe this respect to yourself because you're a child of God. You should feel guilty if you don't," she said.

Sooooo. Somehow this little human she's aborting isn't a child of God like she herself is, doesn't have a right to a good life as a child of God and is somehow, because of his/her mother's timing, deserving of ruination, and has forfeited a right to a good life?

But (and it's a big one) when the mother's timing is right, then, then that child has the right to a good life as a child of God free of the worry of ruination.

Interesting. Good thing God has 'gifted' these pro-abort Catholic women with the 'divine providence' to decide which children they conceive are children of God deserving of life and which (through mom's own poor timing as perceived by mom and nothing else) are not children of God, undeserving of life, period. /major sarc

I didn't realize till now that love of self trumps love of God.

Evidently this insane woman is practicing self-ideology, and is propagandizing others to do likewise — good little post-modernist progressive that she is. And ultimately, a nihilist also. No way is she Catholic.

This stuff is sick-making. But thanks wagglebee for posting this article anyway!

Sadly, dear sister,we live in a world of self seeking self will worshipers.

Thomas Kempis’s book the Imitation Of Christ shows us what we must do to avoid this

http://www.amazon.com/Imitation-Christ-Vintage-Spiritual-Classics/dp/0375700188

Excerpts....

“I WILL speak to my Lord, I who am but dust and ashes. If I consider myself anything more than this, behold You stand against me, and my sins bear witness to the truth which I cannot contradict. If I abase myself, however, if I humble myself to nothingness, if I shrink from all self-esteem and account myself as the dust which I am, Your grace will favor me, Your light will enshroud my heart, and all self-esteem, no matter how little, will sink in the depths of my nothingness to perish forever.
It is there You show me to myself — what I am, what I have been, and what I am coming to; for I am nothing and I did not know it. Left to myself, I am nothing but total weakness. But if You look upon me for an instant, I am at once made strong and filled with new joy. Great wonder it is that I, who of my own weight always sink to the depths, am so suddenly lifted up, and so graciously embraced by You.
It is Your love that does this, graciously upholding me, supporting me in so many necessities, guarding me from so many grave dangers, and snatching me, as I may truly say, from evils without number. Indeed, by loving myself badly I lost myself; by seeking only You and by truly loving You I have found both myself and You, and by that love I have reduced myself more profoundly to nothing. For You, O sweetest Lord, deal with me above all my merits and above all that I dare to hope or ask.
May You be blessed, my God, for although I am unworthy of any benefits, yet Your nobility and infinite goodness never cease to do good even for those who are ungrateful and far from You. Convert us to You, that we may be thankful, humble, and devout, for You are our salvation, our courage, and our strength.”

“What good does it do to speak learnedly about the Trinity if, lacking humility, you displease the Trinity? Indeed it is not learning that makes a man holy and just, but a virtuous life makes him pleasing to God. I would rather feel contrition than know how to define it. For what would it profit us to know the whole Bible by heart and the principles of all the philosophers if we live without grace and the love of God? Vanity of vanities and all is vanity, except to love God and serve Him alone.
This is the greatest wisdom — to seek the kingdom of heaven through contempt of the world. It is vanity, therefore, to seek and trust in riches that perish. It is vanity also to court honor and to be puffed up with pride. It is vanity to follow the lusts of the body and to desire things for which severe punishment later must come. It is vanity to wish for long life and to care little about a well-spent life. It is vanity to be concerned with the present only and not to make provision for things to come. It is vanity to love what passes quickly and not to look ahead where eternal joy abides.
Often recall the proverb: “The eye is not satisfied with seeing nor the ear filled with hearing.” [Eccles. 1:8] Try, moreover, to turn your heart from the love of things visible and bring yourself to things invisible. For they who follow their own evil passions stain their consciences and lose the grace of God.”

This is a book every Christian should read!

Lord Love you!

I’m unusual at my parish with only two. I got weird looks until the hysterectomy. My hubby wanted six. I would have taken whatever God gave me. He gave me the best kids I could have asked for.

Thank you so much for sharing your insights, dearest sister in Christ!

Truly, when a person loves herself more than God she is an idolator.
