Reagan didn't either. In fact, he didn't even have control of the House. But he got his tax cuts through without any sunset provisions, as far as I recall.

Yep. They usually follow their leader and Bush 2 did not fight for any domestic agenda, just like his father.
From what I/we saw he basically rolled on almost every contentious item the Dems mouthed off about.
