Im familiar with both Amish and Mennonites. I dont recall ever seeing anything near a hijab. A small cap but not a full scarf except in very cold winter weather.
Our family is conservative Christian.
My wife wears a head scarf that covers her hair (1st Corinthians 11). It doesn’t cover her face, neither does it cover her neck, but it does cover her head and hair.
Banning headscarves is authoritarian nonsense.
Most people walk around with little more than underwear, and you want to make a law to punish those who cover up?
Sounds upside down to me.
You can wear (or unwear) whatever you like.
Please allow us the same choice.
