Has Obama given them the green light to after the Jews on the homefront while Obama undermines the Jews in Israel?

Either way, American Jews are still going to vote for Obama. He got like 75% of the Jewish vote in 2008, and there is no evidence to suggest he has lost any support.

Obama could completely abandon Israel and American Jews would probably still dutifully show up at the polling center and vote for whatever Democrat they can find on the ballot.

I really don't understand this behavior, but it seems to be pointless to try to change it. Jews tend to be liberals/socialists and this is how they will probably always vote. They also tend to find their way into leadership positions in the ACLU, People for the American Way, etc. When is the last time you saw Buddhists, Hindus or even Muslims getting all worked up over a nativity scene? It is virtually always Jews pulling that crap.

That’s not a fair comparison. Muslims see Jesus as a Prophet so they wouldn’t have problems with a Nativity scene. Buddhists and Hindus don’t care about ‘other Gods’.

Not observant or orthodox Jews, these are secular Jews whose religion is the radical.

The 75% is believed to be somewhat of an overestimate, due to statistically sloppy polling techniques. The true % will never be really known, but it's probably in the high 60s, which is more consistent with pre-election polling.

No evidence to suggest he has lost any support (among Jewish voters)? Wrong. More recent polls have shown his job approval rating with Jews now is in the 50s. Though that's higher than his rating with the general American population, there is no doubt he's going downhill with Jewish voters, just as he is with just about any other group except perhaps blacks.

This iconoclasm is actually a perversion of a legitimate Jewish instinct--the destruction of false "gxds." However, liberal Jews have perverted this instinct because they have redefined Judaism as secular humanism. Thus, instead of destroying false "gxds" they tend to seek out the most Judaic things they can find (the "Ten Commandments," for example) and make have hissy fits about them. It's like HaShem is now the "foreign" G-d. However, this does not change the fact that the destruction of false "gxds" is commendable and part of the Jewish mission.

BTW, many Fundamentalist Protestants object to chr*stian iconography as idolatrous.

This is 2010....not 2008 things have changed. Jewish people don’t need anyone to “change” them. Especially the likes of Jew Bashers. If anyone needs bashing it’s the American politicians and people who STILL do not see the ISlamic threat. I’ll take a Jewish person complaining about the Nativity over any muslim who seeks to take over our country and install Sharia Law...or hit us with another 9/11.

I think it is more often atheists, some of whom might be Jews by birth. Was Madeline Murray O'hare Jewish?

(And I wouldn't go putting up a creche in a Muzzie neighborhood. A law suit would be the least of your problems.)
