No need to apologize. I got where you were trying to get. It's just that I saw something different in their responses. It's clear that some Christian fundamentalists feel they have the right to judge others by hiding behind Bible verses. To me that it clearly antithetical to the Teachings of Christ as I learned them.

I very rarely come on "religion" threads because of the utter closed mindedness of some of the fundamentalists. This thread is in "news/activism" so I clicked on it and feel free to respond.

Proselytizing is a double edged sword. If done right it can work however most of the people on these threads think the it means demeaning, degrading and insulting anyone who has any questions or even disagrees with them in the slightest.
