In August's Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie opens up about her six children and relationship with beau Brad Pitt.
The Salt star, 35, admits she dresses Shiloh, 4, "like a little dude. Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It's how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers."
But Jolie says she isn't worried: She was just like Shiloh as a kid.
"Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet," she says. "....Goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer. I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around."

I had a girl that dressed like a boy at 7, had her sister cut her hair, wore black boots and pants all the time. I think she liked the shock value when people found out she was a girl.

This is a perfect definition for the way these rich folks get these kids.
I suspect the results with Beatty's and Jolie's daughters will be similar....
Yes she is the oldest of the bio kids. There is this one and the set of twins that are bio kids.

I’m sorry you took offense to that. My apologies to you and all the other parents of adopted children.
I’m also sorry that I’ve been conditioned to look at celebrity adoptions as more of a publicity stunt than a genuine desire to help a parentless child.
For the childs sake, I hope I’m wrong about that.
That being said, I wonder if you had to go through the same adoption process as someone with a couple hundred million dollars and international name recognition?

Exactly! I moved into a neighborhood of all boys at 5yo I could play trucks with the best of them for quite a long time. It took lots of begging to get Mom and Dad to buy me some boy toys but if I only played with the girl toys I always played alone.
Why not? She’d be an improvement over the other celebrities the GOP keeps putting up.

Income is not the issue. It that why your words for adoptive families are so harsh? Are you jealous?
Our adoptions came with sacrifice and savings, made when our bio kids were grown and in college. It also came with a lot of prayer and thought. I was raised in foster care and am eternally grateful for the people that made that choice.
While adoption is not for everyone, it is a blessing for those that do, and not something to be mocked by the uninformed.
I’m with you, mom4melody. You have a right to defend the dignity of adoptive parents and kids. You don’t have to silently tolerate meanness and incivility -— even here at Free Republic.

I am the aunt of two adopted children who love their mother and father dearly. They didn't "buy" children. They took them in when their situation they were living in was hopeless. You are an @ss.
I only played alone if I wanted to play Barbie. Somehow I could never talk the boys into Barbie. LOL Sorry been off the market for 24 years married to the nicest guy I ever met. :)
Heh.. good on you.. Jolie's kids are still store bought. Poor couple in a trailer could not do it. Hence... store bought kids.... No insult,, If you have the money... more power to you... buy several more.
