A half-naked man state police said tried to run down an elderly man and his grandson in the South End because they objected to the volume of his car radio was captured in Framingham after leading troopers on a high-speed game of bumper cars on the Mass Pike.
Alejandro E. Serra, 29, of Framingham, who state police said had a suspended drivers license, will be arraigned tomorrow on multiple assault and reckless driving charges in Boston Municipal Court, where there is also a warrant for his arrest accusing him of skipping out on a June 10 pretrial hearing on a pending trespassing case.

I hope his rights aren't violated. Who are we to judge? /sarc.

I didn’t know if they were chasing him with a big stick or a fish.

I’d like to see that...all the flopping around...or was he underwater, swimming like hell? Or being chased with a medieval weapon? The writer was a Columbia Grad, no doubt...45K a year...

” state police said had a suspended drivers license,... “
Did he have a valid half-hekkid fishing license?
reminds me of that bumbling fool John Kerry; “ So, ah , kin ah git me a—half-nekkid fishin’ license here? It’s for my pet fish, Jenjis.”

The writer was a Columbia Grad, no doubt...45K a year...,Nothing wrong with that headline for Boston readership. The "Pike" is the local vernacular for the Massachusetts Turnpike, aka Interstate 90. In California would it be wrong to say, "CHP arrests Long Beach man after wild 101 chase?"
Same difference.

Dang. That picture makes me want to take up fishing again.

Pike are nasty fish if one practices catch and release. Those teeth are lethal.
Now, smallmouth bass...

"Why can't you people make up your mind? First you take my license away and then you ask me to show it to you!"
Well, it's worth a try.

Now, smallmouth bass... I spent 15 years living near Chattanooga. Fished with a bass club. No one had to say 'Large Mouth' to know what kind of fish you weren't going to catch that day.
