We don’t have to totally seal the border.
Creating an environment where illegals will self-deport is the answer.
With less traffic comes easier enforcement....

We don’t have to totally seal the border.

That is the crux of the issue. The reason she said 'seal' is that she knows it cannot be done, and it isn't what we want. We don't want the borders CLOSED.

What we want is border SECURITY.

That is what she is responsible for, and she is failing at it. She is just trying to dodge the issue by using a strawman argument.

The other thing that nobody ever mentions is that Mexico itself must be supportive. We don’t have too much trouble with the Canadian border, other than the occasional would-be terrorist with a UK passport trying to get through mostly in Vancouver. But even in the latter case, the Canadians are not supportive of this. Mexico is not, for two reasons.

One, it makes money on the immigrants who come here to work, because they send back millions of dollars to their families in Mexico.

Two, because Mexico can’t control its internal situation because of the massive influence of the drug barons, a lot of whom also make big bucks by smuggling people (not only Mexicans but anybody who can pay, a lot of them Chinese and Middle Easterners) across the border. You will find that virtually all of these drug lords are also allied with leftist groups, not only in Mexico, but in other parts of Latin America.

We’re taking a way too limited approach to this. But that’s probably because Barry is happy to see Hizbullah coming in.

As for the non-druggie Mexican who comes over here genuinely looking for work, I think we need two things: a short-term (enforced) visa process, and a legal residency check for receiving state services, including education.

That's exactly right. Stop the sanctuary cities, prosecute the employers (pretend they're an oil co.) , No free medical care; basic lifesaving and thats it. No more free education. While we're at it, instead of putting up signs saying there are smugglers in that federal preserve so Americans keep out. Make that park a training ground for special forces. Any smugglers in there do so at your own peril. Even if you just do MOST of these suggestions, illegals will begin to self deport. You can secure the border between Iran and Iraq using drones and commandos, why is this border so impossible to secure?

We are living under a criminal Marxist regime.
