WASHINGTON The Supreme Court says a law school can legally deny recognition to a Christian student group that won't let gays join.
The court on Monday turned away an appeal from the Christian Legal Society, which sued to get funding and recognition from the University of California's Hastings College of the Law.

Bad sign for 501 3C groups.
This is insane.
Folks, here’s how it is... we need to start flooding these opposing groups with Christians.
So this means a Christian can join a gay rights group and speak against the gay lifestyle as a sin or the gay rights group will lose its funding. </s>
Two edged sword.
This ruling can be used to defund the radical Muslim Student Associations across the United States.
I was thinking the exact same thing. In this particular instance, I don't know if there are enough Christian/Catholics at Hastings, but at another university, I'd like to see the Christians and Catholics get together and join the gay groups en masse. They could then vote to install people of faith into the leadership positions of these homosexual or atheist groups. Then, we'll see who's discriminated against.
We are one for two today.
Sooooooo...Does this mean that Islamic campus groups cannot deny admission to Christians....or Jews? ;-o
“sign for 501 3C groups”
How so? This can only affect groups part of publically funded institutions.
As I interpret it ... yes it does.
What about black groups that keep out whites?
Liberal groups that keep out conservatives?
maybe Christians need to join gay groups en masse, get elected to leadership roles in the clubs, and have some input into the agenda
Correct, this ruling will bite these wack groups in their collective rears...
Should Christians take over the Islamic supremacist groups on college campuses then?
So if public monies are used your right to free association ends. Ever wonder why libtards like big government? So they can engineer you into a image of themselves. They are God like.
great minds
I’ve had the same thoughts about ACORN- join em and take over running them
That keeps them under the radar, at the same time that pretty well preserves their privilege of using meeting rooms in university owned buildings without trouble.
So, the game plan ~ first, quit going after the student activities fund for subsidy. That takes you out of the line of investigation ~ students are generally too young and naive to realize there's more to "funding" than mere money. Same with the faculty.
Second, infiltrate OTHER GROUPS. That way when you have an intergroup meeting over passing around the funding, or other privileges, you have some friends on the scene. Third, avoid using large rooms for your meetings ~ just enough for your own core groups.
I skimmed thru the ruling. The court mentions that under university rules, republicans could join and take over the democrat club, and the university would have to support that as OK.
So I think that is what conservative students at select Universities should do - join in mass and vote themselves in as the head of gay groups, environmental groups, etc - force the democrat club to endorse Palin for President.
