I can only conclude that this is deliberate. The leak may have been started by accident, but the disaster is clearly exactly what Obama wants. He does not want to limit the damage. He wants to wreck the economy of the entire gulf region. He is actually standing in the way of clean up and relief efforts.

He MUST be impeached!

Agreed...It is on purpose and the thuggery needs to be addressed at the highest “legal authority!”

If you are just going to give amnesty to entire third world countries and let them move in, you need to make sure the environment matches their lifestyle. Why would Obama care what the Gulf ends up like? It's not going to be part of the United States anymore.

I have a question.

If the JONES ACT is what is prohibiting FOREIGN SHIPS from OFFERING FREE SKIMMING (which makes the whole thing a lie because American UNION employees would not be getting PAID at all, therefore the JONES ACT doesn’t even apply), how is it that BP, which is a FOREIGN company is working in the GULF, operating SHIPS, and as of this moment, is in complete control of the area and the coastal regions?

Did someone in the administration give them another waiver?

It's either deliberate or incompetence on a grand scale.

I too vote for deliberate.

This disaster is totally a criminal act by the U.S. government. There have been many offers of assistance from both private, public and even other governments, but all Zero has done is to prevent any effective cleanup to be done and to stop operations that were working.

It is way past time to get rid of this guy.

Impeach Obama.

I’m not so sure it was actually an “accident”. I’m not saying it was sabotage but somebody knew something prior to the blowout.

1. In the weeks prior to the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe BP CEO Tony Hayward sold 1/3 of his BP shares, using the money to pay off his family mansion.
2. During those same few weeks Goldman Sachs shorted 44% of its BP holdings, while Wachovia and UBS sold 98% and 97% of their BP holdings.
3. CEO Tony Hayward made $4.5 million last year = $12,000 A DAY – even since the Deepwater explosion
4. Deepwater Horizon oil rig owner, Transocean, made a whopping $270 million off the explosion and oil leak.
5. Part of BP’s cost-benefit analysis for determining how well to build employee housing included a document comparing employees to the Three Little Pigs, ultimately determining that dead employees were worth more to the company than what the more expensive and safer housing would cost.
