I’m not so sure it was actually an “accident”. I’m not saying it was sabotage but somebody knew something prior to the blowout.

1. In the weeks prior to the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe BP CEO Tony Hayward sold 1/3 of his BP shares, using the money to pay off his family mansion.
2. During those same few weeks Goldman Sachs shorted 44% of its BP holdings, while Wachovia and UBS sold 98% and 97% of their BP holdings.
3. CEO Tony Hayward made $4.5 million last year = $12,000 A DAY – even since the Deepwater explosion
4. Deepwater Horizon oil rig owner, Transocean, made a whopping $270 million off the explosion and oil leak.
5. Part of BP’s cost-benefit analysis for determining how well to build employee housing included a document comparing employees to the Three Little Pigs, ultimately determining that dead employees were worth more to the company than what the more expensive and safer housing would cost.

Obviously there were warning signs and Hayward knew all of them. There was obviously a lot of short selling going on right before the well blew. I'm sure if you look at the history of these companies trading with BP stocks you would find that none of them were short selling these stocks until right before the blowout. BP was probably advertising that they were sitting on a very large oil reserve which made their stock a very lucrative investment. And then suddenly everyone starts to short sell right before the well is ready to start production?????

No, they knew in advance that this company was about to go south.

Very disturbing indeed. As for impeachment, it makes a great bumper sticker, but we cannot be sure it will ever occur, either during this or even the next Congress, and November is an eternity away, relative to the damage that can be done in the intervening months.

It is no exaggeration to say that Obama is a clear and present danger to the American people. He’s not only enriching his golf buddies via the BP leak, but he’s dolling out BP cash to his victims, which may skew southern voting patterns, and by dealing a death blow to US oil exploration, he’s enslaving our foreign policy for decades to Arab oil. He is voting “present” on the health, well-being, and livelihoods of millions of innocent American citizens not because he is indecisive but because the delay serves the dictates of his anti-American ideology.

Not to mention the rules of engagement that are killing our soldiers, or the disgusting posturing of submission to foreign threats that only increases our vulnerability, or suing our own defenders of American liberty right here in Arizona for doing their job and his. He is voting “present” on the expanding and encroaching power of the Mexican drug cartels, and that has already led to the loss of freedom and the loss of life of innocent American citizens.

It’s fair to say he is killing us. Literally. We have to stop this.

But if we keep ranting about impeachment or other impractical solutions we are no better than him. During our generation, we have handed a political crisis of apocalyptic proportions. We must do better than bumper stickers. It is the moral equivalent of voting “present.”

We need to crank up a really high-pressure campaign for his resignation, or find some other way to oust him from office for either gross incompetence or intentionally operating against American interests. Any ideas on how to do that? Is there anyone whose been holding out, who’s got something on this guy that can accelerate the process of firing him? If so, your country needs you, and right now.
