"The Declaration of Independence was the Declaration of Responsibility too." - Sarah Palin
My tagline is about my own dream and effort -to reach the the light that only God can shine upon us.
As farr reaching knowledge of the facts upon this Earth - well, that’s for strivers after them, as well. Knowledge and the ability to achieve it is not limited, irregardless of their educational pedigree, age, belief system, or gender, anymore than reaching the Light is.
I believe that anyone, whether in the “masses” or the “elite” can constantly increase their knowledge. The human mind, as we are discovering, is capable of remarkable regrowth and even regeneration. Not even biology, which can place limits on our age, strength and health, can limit the ability of our brains to grow, develop and change.
I also firmly believe that all of us can have a better understanding of the outlooks and experiences of others, if we sincerely attempt to listen and consider. We may, of course, decide that there are some people beyond the pale to develop empathy for, and I believe that there are those who have sunk so low that we don’t *want* to see theings through their point of view.
But ultimately God sees inside the mysteries of all human hearts. If, by some blessing, we are finally able to rejoin him in infinity, perhaps them we will all be blessed with both His wisdom and His knowledge.
Until then,, I just keep striving.
So it’s not really a tagline about politics - except as politics is a part of the world.
I’m with you lol; the “fluff” thing got me. I think she’s anything but- I was raised on a diet of what some would call hyperbole- (as the son of a career soldier) the United States of America was the greatest country civilization had yet seen.
We rescued Europe twice in the first half of the 20th century and faced down communism in the second half.
Now some nitwit wants to bankrupt us and sell us down the river. Not my America.
