But God does not want us to be shaken or afraid but comforted because God has not appointed us to His wrath but instead to His salvation. I Thess 4:16-5:11; II Thess. 2:2. God wants instead for His people to rejoice, watch, and by grace be ready for Him to come at any time to take us as Noah and Lot were taken. Matt 24:36-44. PTL!
In the meantime, may His grace in us abound more and more as sin increases around us.
There we part ways a bit. IMSO (in my studied opinion, ha) we get to hang around for most of the rough stuff, because that isn't God's wrath. Of course we are not subject to His wrath, but it all depends when that exactly begins.
