God wants instead for His people to rejoice, watch, and by grace be ready for Him to come at any time to take us as Noah and Lot were taken.

There we part ways a bit. IMSO (in my studied opinion, ha) we get to hang around for most of the rough stuff, because that isn't God's wrath. Of course we are not subject to His wrath, but it all depends when that exactly begins.

Its OK, but I think you and I have tickets to watch this satanic horror on the earth from Heaven's mezzanine together. Looks like Satan is God's tool of wrath upon the earth (they kind of get what they wanted). We'll be like Noah and Lot and that's a good thing, PTL!

This outcome is why I think we can be "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God" (2 Peter 3:12). There's no way I'm wanting to hasten the Day of God if I'm still in a world where half the people are killed (first 3 1/2 years) and almost everybody else the second 3 1/2 years.
