DENVER Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano blamed a "bitterly divided Congress" for failing to create an immigration bill but assured Hispanic political leaders on Thursday that the president remains committed to overhauling the nation's immigration laws.
"Make no mistake about it. President Obama and the administration are committed to comprehensive immigration reform," Napolitano said to cheers and applause of participants at the annual conference of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials..."But I think we can all recognize, and you as elected officials can recognize particularly, that some reform takes time."
Napolitano highlighted President Barack Obama's effort to make it easier for legal immigrants to become citizens and said Obama has taken a tough approach to securing the U.S.-Mexican border. She did not mention Arizona's tough new immigration law, which takes effect July 29 if it survives legal challenges...
Napolitano also provided no details of what an immigration bill would look like, but said that it would be a "big goal" requiring bipartisanship....
Napolitano said lawmakers who say the border needs to be secured before a new immigration bill is introduced "keep moving the goalpost."
"And the word secure really becomes, effectively, 'seal' the border," she said....

This is what AP reported in English. In Spanish, Univision reported that she said, "The border is secure. It cannot be sealed, like some are demanding. That is an irrational demand, because there is a great deal of legal traffic of goods and people between the US and Mexico." SHE THINKS THE BORDER IS SECURE! For this quote

The goal is to completely ruin the integrity of this country.
As for the details, Nanzi explains it best:
"We have to pass the bill so we can see what's in it."
They will ram this through no matter what anybody says.

ok let's recap. Arizona is almost to crisis mode with drug criminals coming over the border, they enact a law to enforce federal law. Oboingo solution, make illegals legal.
Oil is spewing into the Gulf, destroying peoples' livelhoods and ocean life. Oboingo solution: Crap and Tax.
Man this guy is a genius. /sarcasm

notice whenever the libs aren’t getting their way the situation is described as ‘bitterly divided’.
Who’s bitter? I’m delighted that Congress can’t move on this. We don’t need new laws, we need the Executive Branch to follow and enforce the ones we have.
