The dog was a pitbull mix according to another news outlet and weighed around 100 lbs. Also the dog apparently bit an officer.
May not excuse the shooting, but we are not talking about a lap dog here.
Would it be too much to ask for you to post a link to this other article? Still doesn’t justify shooting a dog that the owner has put in another room, though.
The Youtube video in post number 2 must have a picture of the dog as a pup then.
You really need to post the link to that. There is a world of difference between a pug and a pitbull!
