When the Fayetteville, Ark., Gay Pride Parade steps off on East Street Saturday on its way to the Wal-Mart parking lot, it will be led by a young man who has made a career out of fighting for gay rights.
Make that a young boy. Will Phillips, the grand marshal, is 10 years old, and his presence has thrust Fayetteville's Gay Pride Parade into the national spotlight.

But the selection of young Will, who last November refused to stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance in school to show his support for gay rights, has changed all that. This year the parade has drawn national attention, and it's promising to tread the line between farce and confrontation.
The American Family Association, based in Tupelo, Miss., has called Will's selection to be grand marshal “a form of child abuse,” and it has called on the city’s mayor to “cancel his plans to issue a proclamation celebrating homosexual behavior and gay pride.”
“We believe that it goes beyond the pale for adults to exploit a 10-year-old child for dark political purposes,” said Bryan Fischer, the director of issue analysis at AFA. “He is too young to understand. There is nothing about homosexual conduct to be proud of and much to be ashamed of.”
The AFA, according to Fischer, has sent an “action alert” to its members in Arkansas, and he says they have deluged the mayor’s and city council’s office with e-mails “asking him to stop this charade.” Though there are no plans to actively protest at the parade, Fischer said, “as of noon Thursday our records show that the mayor and city council had received 12,300 e-mails asking them to stop the parade.”

One can only hope a toad-strangling wind-whipped thunder and lighting hail storm makes this perverted spectacle a non-event. That, or someone dump a load of bovine excrement down the parade path the night before like someone did in Conway a few years ago.

Pinging both lists. Anyone who thinks that the homosexual agenda is "somewhere else" or just about allowing "gays" to live their lives in peace needs to read this. The homosexual agenda is all about changing the very nature of society, and they want children - all children - your children and grandchildren - to know that "gay is good" from the youngest ages.
The homosexual agenda is primarily concerned with two simple things: (1) Total dominance and changing society into a sexually libertine free-for-all (with of course the necessary repression of the rights of religion, speech and association) and (2) access to children for recruitment and for supporters. It's that simple.

I live about 20 miles north of Fayetteville-it is a non-stop gay parade there. A couple years ago, we attended Mama Mia at the Walton Arts Center. We were COMPLETELY surrounded by G’s and L’s! (And, no forehead stamps were needed)!

It’s things like this that sometimes make me wish that conservatives would secede rather than fix the country. In the “former” United States the libs would be in the gulags their elites had in mind for us and the sodomites would eventually wind up dealing with the caliphate.
When I was 10 years old I was roller skating, riding my bike, climbing trees, playing with my friends, playing with my dolls and loving history and science but hating math in school. The only politics I knew of was when my Dad watched the news on TV during dinner.

I’ve only driven through Fayetteville several times (we live in Fort Smith). If we have a gay and lesbian scene down here, I’m completely in the dark about it, thankfully!
It doesn’t surprise me that the last of the abortion clinics in the state has one being in Fayetteville. I am going to try to make it up there for the 40 Days for Life campaign in the fall.
