Want to get a sense of how a Shep Smith, Tony Hayward interview might go down? Todays heated exchange between Shep and Andrew Napolitano offered a small preview.
The blow-up between the two came during a discussion over todays WSJ report that BP had based its spill plans on out-dated government models. Napolitano essentially made the argument that this news was merely further proof the government is to blame for the spill (and you know, he does have a point), which did not go over well with Shep to put it mildly.
"Im getting kind of grossed out, Judge .and now youre going to turn around and blame the government for these bumbling fumbling crazy people?

I think it was just a one-nighter in a bathhouse.
Shep is probably the Catcher.
uch. To his credit Napolitano held his own. I am not standing up for BP I am standing for the rule of law, said Napolitano before making the rather tenuous argument that the oil companies should decide where to drill because they are the ones losing the money.
I saw that. I also heard him say it was politicized just like Katrina. He then said he was in New Orleans, so he did not know it was poiticized until he returned home.
Someone needs to remind the drama queen that he was helping politicize Katrina with his “Oh the humanity” broadcasts..
Is there one? Does there have to be one?
Awwwww, gee...
Sheppie throws a hissy...
Real ‘STOP THE PRESSES’ news, here.... ;)
Shep is an Ass Wipe!
FMCDH(BITS)
Shep’s a silly she-man who wears mascara and puts too much glycerine in his eyes.
Shep is a b1tch so I’d assume he plays that role in his personal life.
Sheppy is a drama queen. Well, maybe a queen that’s just dramatic.
I saw Smith talking about General McChrystal the other day, and he was practically hysterical. He is far and away the biggest pansy at Fox News.
Doesn’t Shep remind you of Myth Romney?
Lets trade Shep for that other fag Cooper at CNN, at least he works out and uses less makeup.
I can’t stand Shep either. He creeps me out!
After watching it, I thought that Napalitano made some insightful and thought provoking comments. He's absolutely right about the insurance comments, and the remark about the federal government "inspecting" or authorizing BP to drill a certain place or a certain way, with absolutely no subject-matter expertise at all.
Even Obama acknowledged that the fedgov had no earthly idea how to stop it and all the industry expertise was with BP. If that's true - as I assert it is - how is the fedgov supposed to effectively "oversee" it?
“The rule of law.”
Why, what a quaint, old-fashioned notion! Does anyone pay attention to that any more?
