Looks to have dropped a shade under 22% according to SGS Alternate and 16.6% according to the government's U-6 chart. The census jobs have dried up in the desert of lurching socialism

The stubbornly high level of requests for jobless aid is a sign hiring remains weak even as the economy recovers.I've noticed the use of "stubbornly" or "stubborn" is being used a lot lately in these reports. The spin is positively ludicrous.
If not for these STUBBORN facts, why, we would have 0% unemployment, with jobs and "Skittles" for everyone!
Puhlease. If I rolled my eyes any further, they might get stuck in the back of my head.

The total number of people receiving benefits, meanwhile, dropped 45,000 to 4.5 million, the department said. But that doesn't include about 5.3 million people who received extended benefits paid for by the federal government in the week ended June 5, the latest data available.
huh ?

It is truly amazing how the American public doesn't understand how socialism makes making a living more and more difficult.
The more socialism injected into an economy to regulate private sector businesses, the slower the economic growth and fewer jobs are created.
Then those who institute socialism promise relief and of course they vote for them in droves.
That's the game that keeps these leftists in power and threatens our liberties.

My son-in-law lost his job last week. They have one son, and my daughter is due again in October. It is hard to even be happy for anyone trying to have a family anymore.

Wouldn’t those who run out of benefits then be part of the fall in claims? After x weeks on unemployment, the claim expires and a new one must be filed. If insufficient hours worked during the first claim, a person is not eligible to file a second claim. I get the impression the job situation is worsening so I have doubts about this ‘surprise drop’.

Are you looking for an extra job, part-time job, work from home job, starting your own business, or finding a good turn-key business?
Are you looking for a job for yourself, a family member or a friend?
