Chief executives of several major corporations, including Hewlett-Packard, Boeing, Disney and News Corp., are joining Mayor Michael Bloomberg to form a coalition advocating for immigration reform — including a path to legal status for all undocumented immigrants now in the United States.
The group includes several other big-city mayors and calls itself the Partnership for a New American Economy. It seeks to reframe immigration reform as the solution to repairing and stimulating the economy.
Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp., appeared together Thursday on Fox News to discuss the effort.
"We're just going to keep the pressure on the congressmen," Murdoch said. "I think we can show to the public the benefits of having migrants and the jobs that go with them."
Bloomberg added, "Somebody has to lead and explain to the country why this is in our interest."

Make these two idiots move out of their multimillion dollar mansions and into a lean-to with 17 other persons in a dirty, stinking colonia filled with illegal invaders for a few months and then report back to us.

We need to deport or imprison ALL illegal aliens, including their anchor babies, seal/secure the border and SHOOT anyone who tries to re-enter illegally.
CEOs just want cheap labor.

What they mean is a welfare economy. Dumbed down people are easier to manipulate.
An attempt to lower wages and increase profit. The profit over patriotism mind-set is so blatant that I’m positive the only thing that can save our country is revolution 2 or cw 2. Do these fools really think an uprising is in their best interest?
The Kenyan is going to naturalize all illegal aliens via presidential decree after the mid-term elections. Laws are not going to stop him.
Amnesty for illegals is a done deal and Bloomberg and the CEOs are preparing to give cover to Obama so his action can be spun as “leadership”. Get ready.
None of those companies are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. They all are fearful they have illegals on their payrolls and face fines over it. Checking the status of every new hire has to have some cost as well that they would rather not pay.
Of course if the govt did its job then the companies would be less likely to have illegals on their payrolls so we come back to the basic premise that the govt is not doing its job and is in fact derelict in its duty.
CEO’s have one vote each just like every other voter. The people overwhelming oppose amnesty. This is a government for the people not special interests, corporations or leaders of an out of control government.
Washington just cut back on border security - because of the cost of overtime! (I kid you not. FOX 9:01 EST)
Tell me, how will the people stop Obama’s naturalization for illegals decree?
What a frappin’ bunch of elitists! What about the rights of Americans who are here legally? Does anyone care about them? By all means, let’s give special rights to lawbreakers - including the people who hire illegals under the table.

I saw those two sorry fools on TV this morning. They are so totally ignorant of the situation it’s amazing. They don’t seem to understand the difference between illegal “migrants” and legal immigrants. Their ignorance was stunning. Bloomberg claimed they didn’t go to hospitals because they were afraid of getting caught. What world does that doofus live in?
