Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, sticking his neck out a bit, waited until today to endorse Mike Lee, a move that undoubtedly was a tough choice now that Lee is the GOP nominee for Senate in Utah and faces no other GOP candidates.

Once again, a day late and a dollar short. Romney did the same thing here in New Mexico, when he endorsed Martinez after she had won the primary. What a loser!
LOL
The footnote known as Miitens strikes again.

If Romney had any shame and integrity, he would go back to Mexico.

Trying to get on the bandwagon. Again, he did the same thing in New Mexico, and it seems somewhat disingenuous. You’d think he’d be more connected with what’s going on in Utah than most, he would have had the balls to back one of the candidates. The timing is also suspicious. He could do this next week, but he wants to do it now, because he wants to be seen as having backed Lee all along.
To: ABQHispConservative
He was backing a friend in Utah; simple as that.

I don't like interference from names like Romney or Palin or Tea party express to attempt to sway the votes of the uninformed . Tea Party Express endorsed a rat in my district and Palin endorsed the candidate Idaho repugnicans did not want. Maybe Romney had the sense to keep his nose out . Nah , but I hope you know what I mean .

While Gov. Palin helped the Tea Parties and fought ObamaCARE
where was the perpetual soreloser Mitt Romney?
He was backing Obama (again).

Actually no. It seems as though you are saying no endorsements from anyone (which I understand), but then Romney did not endorse, but he did. Is this right?

Your personal attacks are reprehensible.
Like the attacks of Team Romney on Gov. Palin and her children.
Has ROMNEY been a man to take Ownership for the attacks on Gov. Palin on
the eve of Election 2008 throwing Obama into the White House?
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election. 'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,' says one former Romney aide
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney. "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin." "I'm told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin's people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides." "The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney's former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said: "These staffers are now out trying to finish her off
.hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign. ... the source of the "Diva" leak was Nicolle Wallace's husband."
Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney" "Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?" "Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?" "Romney Supporters Trashing Palin" "Romney advisors sniping at Palin?" |

I would prefer no outside interference in contested primaries , but that is a dream ,like having only informed people vote. Supporting a multiple term incumbent is expected , but his failure to read the mood of the people is revealing . After the convention the primary was between two challengers , and he , Romney should have clearly stayed out of it .
