Freedom Fest 2010 with Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be held at The Constant Center on June 27

Steve Batton and Freedom 1650 Conservative Talk Radio has provided thousands of fans with a “must-listen” radio experience that will expand this year with Freedom Fest 2010. Making an appearance will be Lee Greenwood, Lt. Col. Oliver North, Former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator George Allen, Virginia Beach Sheriff Ken Stolle, Bishop E.W. Jackson, and headlined by Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (speakers are subject to change). Freedom Fest will be held at the Constant Center on Sunday, June 27th at 6:30PM. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased through www.COXTix.com, the Constant Center Box Office or charge by phone at 888-3-COXTIX.

Sarah Palin made history on December 4, 2006, when she became the first woman elected governor of Alaska. Prior to her election as governor, Palin served on the Wasilla City Council, as the mayor/manager of Wasilla and chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. During the 2008 Presidential campaign, Republican Presidential candidate John McCain selected Governor Palin to run on his ticket as Vice President. Palin has recently authored an autobiography Going Rogue: An American Life in November 2009 about her family, life in Alaska, and status of American politics.

Lieutenant Colonel Oliver L. North is a combat decorated marine, the author of 11 New York Times best-sellers, and the host of “War Stories” on the Fox News Channel. North served 22 years as a U.S. Marine and his awards for service in combat include the silver star, the bronze star for valor and two purple hearts for wounds in combat.

George Allen served the Commonwealth of Virginia for over twenty years as Governor, in both bodies of the US Congress, and as a delegate in the Virginia General Assembly. Sworn in as Governor in 1994, George Allen brought sweeping reform that made Virginia a national model in economic development, public safety, education accountability, and creative government.

Few artists have ever written a song that has become more a part of America’s cultural landscape than Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” Along the way, he has won numerous accolades including two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association and the CMA Song of the Year honor in 1985 for “God Bless the USA.”
