In George Orwell’s classic 1984, the state becomes God and we meet thought criminals like Ampleforth. His big mistake was to allow the “G” word to remain at the end of one of Kipling’s poems. For his sins he shall pay! Even sweet church bells are silenced. Likewise, in 2010, militant atheists are on the march, and according to S.E. Cupp It’s time to wake up and smell the bias.

I’ve always contended that even if I were an atheist (or, especially if I were one) I’d want to live in a Judeo Christian nation.
