He lost to Ernest F. Hollings in 1998, but I was not aware that Inglis was on the left.

I guess I really don't respect the bastard.

I do respect McCain for his service to the Nation as a Naval officer, but as a Senator... toooooo unreliable.

It will be hard for a conservative to win a KS primary. After they voted for Brownback, he proved such as disappointment that I would imagine the stolid Kansans will go with Moran. But Tiahrt is the ideal choice; that’s why I think he will lose.

Napoleon, whenever he lost a battle, would execute a few of his colonels, “pour encourager les autres” ( to encourage the others...)

Jack’s a good guy. Upton goes which way the wind is blowing.

How much has been attributed to his vociferous support for his buddy Sanford when the people wanted him out? Inglis pulling that “private life” baloney, I’m just curious if it had any part in his loss.

I don’t think Bob Inglis was a RINO.

I do think he was a DC elitist who went native in that town.

He told a town hall to “turn off Glenn Beck”. Now they have turned him out.

That really doesn’t very sound much like Napoleon, the Red Army in WWII certainly, do you have any specific examples?

The quote is Voltaire I believe, snottily commenting on the execution of Admiral Sir John Byng for the failure of the Minorca relief expedition he commanded in the Seven Years War.

The media told you the people wanted Sanford out. Not true. Sanford imploded during the time of his affair and disheartened his supporters. Except for his adultery, the people still are in agreement with what Sanford stands for politically. He’s not a RINO and his enemies are Haley’s enemies.

Rudy would have been a much better candidate than McCain and a 1000X better POTUS than Obama.

While certainly true, this is still very close to a null statement.
