No, I saw that interview live on TV. That was a “I really wish Duncan Hunter was a contender because then I could endorse him” compliment. It was not the only time I remember her speaking positively of Duncan, either.
She had already long since openly endorsed Mitt Romney, written of his heroics, and done the talk show carousel touting her endoresment:
Nope. She was asked who her favorite candidate is. She did not mention the caveat - how tough it will be for him to get traction or that she wished he was a contender. And this is not the only time she made such remarks. In hte clip I gave you, she dissed Mitt.
