State GOP questions who is behind Tea Party candidates (Fla. RINOs attack Tea Party movement)

TALLAHASSEE — As the slates for statewide and legislative elections were set Friday, a political war began brewing over who is behind the state’s official “Tea Party.”

Seven of the 16 Tea Party candidates who qualified for House or Senate seats are opposing Republican incumbents. Chairman Fred O’Neal suggested the party’s main goal was to defeat GOP legislators who aren’t conservative enough.

But Republicans saw something more nefarious: An organized effort to try to split the GOP, perhaps to aid Democrats.

“While a few tea party candidates across the state do have ties to the tea party movement, in the majority of instances, it appears that the Democrats have coordinated a dishonest attempt to hide phony candidates behind the name 'tea party’ and to confuse voters who may be supportive of the tea party movement, effectively stealing votes from true conservative candidates and injuring the grassroots tea party movement as a whole,” Sen. John Thrasher of St. Augustine, chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, said in a statement.

O’Neal, however, said the Tea Party’s main goal was to defeat “Republicans in name only,” known as RINOs.

“We will expose these RINO Republicans as the frauds that they are,” O’Neal said. “Taxpayers have a right to a real choice and the Tea Party will give it to them.”

Need to know on a case by case basis. Very plausible.

The News Service of Florida reported that at least one Tea Party candidate is a registered Democrat. Stephen Taylor, a resident of Tallahassee, is opposing Rep. Debbie Boyd, D-Newberry, for her seat representing a rural Gainesville-area district.

I don't know if this is the position many will take, but I think the Tea Party movement should be what it is that scares the hell out of the Dems and RINO's--it's not a "party" but an ideology. There's no party registration, no group that those in power get to decide is legit or not. It's more an idea--I'm a Tea Party person, i guess, but I never signed anything.

It's this not being fixed in place like the parties that is the strength of the movement.

The Tea Party:

Look for it - it cannot be seen.

Listen for it - it cannot be heard.

Reach for it - it cannot be touched.

Try to destroy it - it will overwhelm you.

Our professional ruling class just does NOT get it:

WE, The People, are sick and tired of the go-along-to-get-along political bullsqueeze that results in a gradual reduction of the United States into a one-world-goobermint socialist hell.

We really don’t care what party you SAY you support - we are looking for real AMERICANS that will do their duty to the citizenry and the Constitution.

It really is this simple, but the politicians, intellectuals, and media pundits will never understand.

We are, as a Nation, teetering on the brink of armed revolution - but the azzhats are just too blinded by their own self-importance to see it.

not just plausable. VERY proven.

A democrat party affiliated lawyer coopted the tea party name. That said, this is why I do not trust ANY tea party candidate who appears on a ballot. The tea party was there to push RINOs off the ballott via the primaries.

This is why charlie the rino crist is off in la la land.

Have seen the same in several other states. Do not want to go into on FR as to not upset the PaulTards (big babies), so I have been doing plenty of research on the candidates I am considering supporting financially so as to protect against getting burnt.

Based on my experiences, I would assume that anyone running as a "Tea Party candidate" is nothing of the sort until proven otherwise. However, there are more types of phony Tea Party candidates than Democrat Party plants:

As has been reported multiple times the Tea-Party is comprised of various Political ideologies. The Tea-Party isn’t simply a Conservative, or Republican organization, as actually it isn’t even officially an organization.

There are a high percentage of registered Democrats involved with the Tea Party, but they aren’t the Democrats you see as the majority since 2006 involved in our government.

The enemy of sanity, the enemy of the Constitution, the enemy of America, the enemy within is the Leftist Democrat, and the Leftist Republican known as the RINO.

Those Leftist Democrats, and Leftist Republicans are the people that have to either be impeached, voted out, or caused to resign. They have to go for us to regain control of our Nation, and turn it back to what Reagan called it, the “Shining City on The Hill”.
