President Barack Obama on Saturday pinned blame on Republicans for making life harder for the unemployed and for those who could lose their jobs without new federal intervention.Like the moratorium that just did in some 145,000 jobs?
Some of those rigs have already whipped out the force majeure clause in their contracts and are headed for different waters. You don't leave $700,000,000 worth of equipment sit idle when it could be bringing in a million dollars a day.

B.S. It's not republicans who are doing their damnedest to reproduce the economic malaise we suffered through in the 70s.

He is making it hard on the jobless because he is the reason they don’t have jobs. He has done absolutely nothing to put small businesses and corporations at ease to help encourage hiring and investment. Either way people shouldn’t expect unlimited unending unemployment. It encourages them to stall on their job searches. People need to realize that they will have to take jobs that are probably not what they are used to in terms of salary and benefits. Paying them to sit idle is just a ploy by Obama to do exactly what he is doing here which is blame the GOP for not cutting them a check for sitting on their duffs while he does nothing at all to encourage job growth.

A tie is better than nothing... although you notice how oil prices are NOT spiking... even with libtards threatening to nationalize BP and a Exxon-Valdez size leak every 10 days.
I think they are really trying their best to prop up the "O" as opposed to 2008 when they wanted to sink anything with an (R) on it in DC.
I am all in favor of the economy sliding headfirst into the toilet in an election year when the rats are in charge!!
Even olberdork and missy chrissy mathews are saying the emperor is naked now..

And dear leader is making things harder for those who still have jobs and those who provide the very jobs he’s demanding.

Typical. The Kenyan’s failed economic policies have made life harder for everyone.

YEah - makes perfect sense - blame the GOP for balking at even more ineffective and out-of-control spending, while completely ignoring the fact that it is his administration that has come up with the failed policies that have put so many out of work in the first place.
