It was an edge-of-the-radar-screen news story that I happen to notice, surfing the Fox News web site. The story was about the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, which is located west of Douglas, Arizona and its southern boundary is adjacent to the Mexican border.
According to the report, and refuge website, 3500 acres have been posted off limits to visitors, due to the presence of drug and human smuggling. Rather than dealing effectively to secure the border, Federal officials have ceded 3500 acres to drug cartels and smugglers. Granted, that acreage is only three percent of the 118,000 acre park and no doubt a small area which no one will really miss viewing. ( images of Closure area shown in the story)

So.....sending in the National Guard for a clean sweep would be out of the question? Seems to me it would be good training for when the go to the border.
Herding is safer than hunting.
Where are the ENVIROS? or are they happy that only the illegals get to inhabit the “protected” area.
I’m already pestering the Sierra Club. Give the Grand Canyon Chapter of the Sierra Club a call. I got personal attention. Just another angle on the battle.
Criminals won’t follow the rules anyway. The law abiding will. Simple logic.
Good!
Keep it up!
We will see if they are just hypocrits.
Demonstrating yet again that "environmentalism" isn't really about the environment. Instead, it's just one of the weapons in the liberal arsenal to gain control over the people.
The only people left to stop the invasion are we, the citizens. We are unorganized, leaderless, and would have to fight the American Army as well as the illegal Mexican. It does not look good for the Republic. Already Mexican governance is starting in California.
Herding is much easier until the sheep revolt. Normally, the ratio of sheep to shepherds is 1,000 to 1.
Typical Hypocrits one and all.
Gotta be a way to get the Feds responsible for this in prison!
What defeatist hogwash!
First off, the Buenos Aires National Refuge is the BEST place in the U.S. to view three rare birds: Rufous-winged sparrow, Botteri's sparrow, and Cassin's sparrow. Birders visit this refuge all the time.
And second of all, regardless of the birds, this is sovereign U.S. soil. Not ONE INCH should be ceded -- even for a moment -- to these invading criminal thugs.
God damn the Obama administration!
Only The Beast himself could be capable of so diabolical a thesis.
Hmmm, be a good time to drop a few......
What can one expect from the invading criminal thug already here
in the WH.
It is west of Douglas but it is more correct to position it west of Nogales and east of Sasabe..118000 acres to protect a bird that flies back and forth between Sonora and Arizona daily and is a chicken substitute south of the border, The Illegals are just an additional benefit.
We are not on the same page, methinks.
