Seriously, I moved to Idaho to get away from the
humidity San Diego. The crowding, taxes, anti-gun
laws, drive-by shootings and other unpleasantries
played a part too. Ripping down the road on
my street bikes or negotiating a tricky single
track trail at 7,000 ft elevation is my way to have
fun. Beaches? I went to the beach in San Diego
about 9 times in 32 years. It’s not something I
miss.

The Philippines is one of the most mountainous countries in the world, it's not all shoreline. Up in many of the hills and mountains the humidity is low and temps are nice from what I hear.
