Charles Djou, Soldiers Who Cannot Comply With DADT Repeal 'Shouldn't Be In The Service'
Hawaii Reporter ^ | 06-16-10 | Jason Linkins

Less than a month has passed since former Honolulu City Councilman Charles Djou (R-HI) won the special election for the 1st Congressional District seat vacated by Neil Abercrombie. But in that brief window, Djou has already boldly injected himself into the debate over the repeal of the military's "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy.

I am I understanding correctly that Djou favors using the United States military as a petri dish for social engineering experiments? ..That he endorses homos kissing in the barracks and the multitude of JAG and CIS prosecutions for “hate crimes” that are certain to follow?

God help America...
Can this pantload be replaced in November?

if I didn’t know this guy was married , with 2 or 3 kids , I would swear he is gay . Maybe he swings both ways ?
One thing is for sure ; After going around to half the churches in Honolulu and assuring everyone that HE was the absolutely best hope for Conservatives and republicans in Hawaii , the first thing he did was become thew water-boy for the activist gay agenda against DADT .

What can be done with these shameless , lying RINO’s ?

“it’s followed, and it’s followed to a tee. That’s what you’re expected to do. And if you can’t do that, then you shouldn’t be in the service and you shouldn’t be wearing the uniform. It’s as simple as that.”

Military man who just won Obama’s adopted hometown seat in Hawaii.

P.S.

He is a Republican conservative.

That’s cool. I’ve been in the Army for 12 years, been to two wars, have a batch of shiny medals and badges, have experience in Infantry combat on the ground and a look from higher level on how those elements communicate and coordinate using the latest digital systems.

I’ll likely be getting out when my current obligation is up. The Army and the government can have their faggots. I got better places to be.

It’s not really DADT that’s the problem.

Here’s the problem, from my POV...

An “out” gay in the unit may or may not be a problem for unit cohesion, esprit de corps, and other aspects of military order. On my CG cutter there was a guy who was pretty light in his loafers, and we all pretty much figured he was batting for the other team. But he was good at his job and nobody really cared. It didn’t matter much in his case.. But even so... military units are NOT the place for social experiments. They exist to kill people and break things. Nothing else matters. No further energy should be spent on the topic.

A “closeted” gay, though, is another matter altogether. And it remains a problem with or without “DADT”. A closeted gay is an *enormous* security risk. They are the ones that will be turned as an agent, in order for their secret not to come out. A closeted gay in the military, say, with a wife and kids... and his career, would probably do *anything* to keep that secret from wiping out his whole world. That’s who every Intel manual in the world tells their operators to work on to “turn”. Ours too.

He is a Republican conservative.

Yeah, that was his con. It didn't take him long to throw real conservatives the finger.

Mere days after being sworn in, Djou joined four of his GOP colleagues in voting to jump-start the repeal process.

I think he's a McGreevey kinda guy...

Well, then I expect the Congressman to sponsor a bill stating that upon the repeal of DADT anyone who thinks they can’t comply can just cut their enlistment short and go home.

I wonder how many will be left? Because we all know liberal and hollywood types will take up the slack, right? Or in the words of another leftist, enlistment will swell because all those gays who have been dying to be in the miitary will suddenly rush to sign up.

Geez. How do all these stupid people get elected. I know, I know. Stupid people vote for them.

And they won’t be. Estimates are that about 10% will quit because of the change in policy. I think the number will be higher. I have no idea how it will affect recruiting but it won’t be positive.

So Djou’s own words show us that he is as authoritarian as any leftist, and that he has an inexplicable inclination to defend homosexuality in the military.

When military recruiters start showing up at depraved Gay Pride events like the one just held in Boston, it will turn off enormous numbers of Americans - parents do have some influence over whether their teenagers join the military to live in barracks with flaming posturing gays just looking to be offended if rebuffed

Are there any Republican politicians who don’t immediately become RINO’s once elected to Congress? Geez...

Back in the early 80’s the GA DOT conducted an undercover sting operation at the rest stop on I-20W about 15-20 miles west of Atlanta. The reason behind the operation was because of numerous complaints of homosexuals trying to “pick up” sex partners and conducting lewd sex acts on the premises. One of the undercover investigators told me later(I worked for the State of GA at the time) you wouldn’t believe just who all they had caught- a metro county fire chief, several ministers and pastors, and one very well-connected full bird colonel out of Fort Mac. One who also had a wife and kids... ...talk about a security risk-and this was almost 35 years ago.

They eventually had to close down the rest stop completely because even with all the stings, the homosexuals continued flocking to it.

That’s terrible, even now you have to find a McDonald’s or something in the next town to relieve yourself or have deal with the perverts in state finaced rest areas.

That is the plan. The Black Messiah’s goons believe they will have free rein without the US Military.

Did anyone see this coming? Did he give any signs that he would turn on the conservative base after he won election? If not, then he needs to be recalled and made to answer for his dishonesty.

The military has an opportunity to stop DADT dead in its tracks. It’s the Courtmartial of LTC Lakin. If they grant Discovery and allow LTC Lakin access to the evidence, then DADT is history — as well as the Usurper in the Oval Office.

He’s right about one thing — if they do decide to repeal the law, and they do put open gays in the military, soldiers who cannot defend those gay soldiers should leave the military.

No matter how stupid the choices of the leadership, so long as they are not illegal, soldiers are expected to follow orders. A soldier who cannot obey an order to fight side-by-side with a gay soldier would have to leave the force.

If they do repeal DADT, they should at least include in the repeal a blanket honorable discharge with pension for soldiers who cannot serve with open gays.

On the other hand, he should never have voted to support the actual repeal. Of course, they didn’t need his vote, and either democrat would have voted the same way.
