Dozens of arrest were made as troublemakers in several locations threw rocks and bottles, set cars on fire, got into fights, and in some cases harassed motorists trying to leave the area, police said. As the crowds left the area, we had some groups that decided to celebrate irresponsibly, LAPD spokeswoman Mary Grady said.

25 mm M242 Chain Gun, followed up by 7.62mm work to take care of any stragglers. Snipers would clean up the crumbs. Leave the bodies in the streets for three days
pour encourager des autres.
One time would be enough to end these riots forevermore.

The sport is no more a hoodlum sport than other pro sports. LOL. Keep telling yourself that. There's a reason basketball is called "ghettoball".

Yikes! Detroit. I seem to remember flashes of overturned police cars and streets on fire, but I guess that could be any city after a play-off game. Usually somewhere on Martin Luther King Drive.

The new police chief, though a friend and supporter of the last great chief, Daryl Gates, is himself not nearly so "law & order" when it comes to knocking heads together and suppressing the law breakers. But then this is the result of having a mayor, city council and other local worthies who will pull out the race card at the first opportunity.
From what little I saw, the cops were far too easy on these jackasses. They act the way they do because they know they can.

A talk show host at KFI radio(Los Angeles) said before the game that there were two groups of people who wanted the Lakers to lose-— the fans of the other team and LAPD.

Riots? ‘65 was a riot. ‘92 was a riot. This was riot practice.

I like #23. Looks like the driver is getting ready to stomp on the accelerator!
That would be a frightening scenario to be in. Can’t imagine what I’d do being caught in the middle of that crap.
Needless to say, I never go near any place that draws those types of crowds.

This crowd is just looking for any excuse! And they aren’t Amish! They are anarchists, coddled by the government.
Expect more of this, since no one, especially in Los Angeles is going to do anything about these invading criminals.

From a relative in LA.
Seems Mexico has just won their world cup game (soccer) and those fans were already *celebrating* in the streets.
Still very un-classy, third world celebrating.
