A former Orlando TSA security officer arrested for allegedly molesting a minor pleaded no contest to one charge today and was sentenced to 10 years' sex-offender probation.
A victim told deputies Bennett asked her to be his sex slave and fondled her against her will. He pleaded no contest to the molestation charge, while prosecutors dropped the second count as part of the plea deal.
Bennett, 58, could have received a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for the felony.
"Are you satisfied with your attorney?" Orange Circuit Judge Marc Lubet asked Bennett during the sentencing.
"Yes," Bennett replied.
"You certainly should be," Lubet said.
Assistant State Attorney Ryan Williams said the victim in this case did not want to see Bennett go to prison. Williams also said Bennett wanted to take "responsibility for his actions."

“who is going to protect your daughter while you are in prison?”
My wife! Unless she kills perv first.. Then it would be me!
“You say no jury will convict you...”
Never said that.
And I fully understand the ramifications of what my actions would be.
As you say, with our corrupt judicial system, getting ‘justice’, as in this case, is mostly non existent.
Probation for molesting a child and wanting to make her a ‘sex slave’?
I would be absolutely willing to live with the ‘consequences’ of my actions.
But you used a ‘hypothetical’ age of 19 or 20.
The girl was 12 years old (per my link).
I’m sorry, but child molesters in my book are no better than murderers, because they rob the innocent ‘life’ of a young child that can never be gotten back.
“I do not believe, as you do, that murder is justice in this case. “
Justice is not murder.
But, we will just have to agree to disagree...
Just consider this.
This probably isn’t the first child he molested.
Just the first one he got ‘caught’ doing so.
How many more innocent lives has he ruined?
We may never know. But I’m willing to bet they haven’t forgotten and probably never will.
Got to run.
Have a good day!
Supreme Court would disagree with you. Oklahoma and Louisiana passed laws that called for the death penalty for repeat child rapists. It was immediately challenged and the Supreme Court struck it down in 2008.
The liberals will argue that it is hypocrisy that conservatives will protect life in the womb, and won’t let a terminally ill cancer patient commit suicide, yet are willing to torture and kill criminals. The liberals argue this is proof that conservatives do not care about life. And that the whole debate over life issues is about conservatives forcing control over other people’s lives.
That’s the angle that is taught in schools and universities today. As I remember one of my high school teachers tell the class, “The Republicans want to be the ones to decide who lives and who dies.”
Of course the hypocrisy goes both ways. The liberals will kill a defenseless baby in the womb and will kill off people who they deem “too sick” for society to care for. Yet they hold candlelight vigils for serial killers.
It appears the moderator thought not.
You can disagree with that all you want.
And by doing so, one is banned.
