Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (58-41 disapprove!)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | June 18, 2010 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 06/18/2010 6:32:01 AM PDT by Scanian

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

These results are based upon nightly telephone interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. As a result, more than two-thirds of the interviews for today’s update were conducted after the president’s speech to the nation. Tomorrow’s update will be the first based entirely upon interviews conducted after the speech.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 41% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-eight percent (58%) now disapprove.

Unless there is a serious turnaround on the ecnomoy, which it won’t Obama looks to lose Ohio, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Colorado, New Hampshire, Iowa, Virginia, Nevada in 2012 and that right now is the good news. He has lost the white guilt vote. With a solid and cogent challenger on a platform of personal freedom and low taxes we could be rid of this usurper.

"This means that 25% of Americans are totally clueless, and/or blindly dedicated librobots."

Or that segment he is never going to lose: The Section8, Food Stamps and Oprah Winfrey demographic.

Heck, I say we run LTC Allen West against him. I’d vote for him in a heartbeat.

And you’re right - the White guilt vote is gone. “We gave him a chance. Sorry, but he sucks.”

I wonder how many of the “Strongly Approve” are gonna still be there when the Bush tax cuts expire and suddenly they find themselves in the taxable group.

Gocha. Yeah, that’s hard to come back from when the number of people who basically hate you outnumbers those who will just tolerate you!

The difference between total approval and strong dissaproval. Many believe (I’m one of them) that there is absolutely no way a person with a negative abyss rating could possibly be re-elected.

To quote fdr, HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN, almost.

Boneheaded inexperienced management rarely can figure out how to correct a cluster-f__k, so will be looking for 40 or below by Monday.

Understand that once prez hit 40 or below they rarely recover.

On Wednesday morning Nov. 3rd it would be so nice to wake to CNN News Flash , well OK, FNC News Flash! Nobama has escaped with all the gold plared tungstan bars he could load on AF1 and flight plan shows Kenya.

That number will drop as soon as a few on the left realize there is a difference between a bleeding heart liberal and a cold blooded fascist.

Thursday's hearing in congress with Tony Hayward was an embarrassment to the USA. Hayward did a great job and shows he is substantially more intelligent that anyone on the subcommittee.

They were beating a dead horse. I'm sure BP wants to get this fixed. If the greens wouldn't have pushed us a mile down to the ocean floor, we could have capped this already.

Remember Union Carbide's radiation leak in Bhopal, India (1984 I think). They filed bankruptcy. Couldn't pay when claims kept coming in. Look for possible BP to file. And then retirees in Britain, US and the world around will lose a lot. Plus the US will be 4th in line for environmental claims. Creditors then Shareholders first and second I believe.

JMHO

Not clear——what do you mean into the abyss index?

Overall Approval -vs- Strongly Disapprove.
If the people who hate your guts outnumber the people who can barely stand to have you in the room, you are going into the abyss.

Good point.

I always mentally factor in those who absolutely will never admit that their messiah is a fraud. Won't admit it to themselves, their friends or the Pollster that calls them at supper time, but will vote differently next time.
