I’m glad Anoreth is far away from all of this. So am I. I don't think Bobby Jindal will start any shooting, but I wouldn't bet a nickel against some Cajun good ole boys.

Not just that, but the health risks from the oil, the dispersants, and so on.
Post 57 is right: the Coast Guard shouldn’t be doing this at all. Reason #96879 to despise the Zero Administration.
(Anoreth would probably be happy to shoot some Cajuns just on general principles - she’s annoyed at not getting to shoot *anything* so far, except the imaginary small boat attack.)

Maybe they’ll find pirates eventually. They have another couple of months out there, I think. I believe she just gets to stand next to the people shooting and look helpful; she hasn’t been trained on the big deck guns.
