Maybe I am way out in right field here...

But is not the Governor of the state the Commander in Chief of the state’s National Guard?

As such, can she not order the Guard deployed on the border, within her state?

I surmise it is likely a matter of who pays for it.

Since citizens tax dollars are paid to gov. for (I feel) the express reason of security of our borders, all Arizona taxpayers should withhold their tax dollars or pay them to fund border patrol activities.

She can also call up the militia if necessary. Deputize the citizens who are being directly affected and have them help out.

I know, I know...militia is a four-letter word to some folks...

I was thinking the same thing!

We are the United States of America.

It is high time we States unite and put power back in the hands of our states where it belongs.

Obama can go to hell!
